Bisquick.com || Search Cooks.com || JiffyMix.com || CD Kitchen.com Scalloped Corn [This is a family original recipe] 2 cans creamed corn 4 eggs 1/4 onion - diced 1 clove garlic - minced 1/2 cup milk 1 sleeve crushed town house/rits/saltines crackers Mix all ingredients. Place in 2 quart baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven 40 minutes. Variations: Add cottage cheese, colby cheese, sour cream, bacon, ranch dressing. Any one of these alone or together will add nice flavoring to the dish. Green Bean Casserole 2 cans french-cut green beans 1 can creamy chicken & mushroom soup 1 can sliced mushrooms 1 medium sized can fried onions Mix green beans, mushrooms and soup. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cover the casserole with the fried onions. Return to oven and bake another 15 minutes. Fancy Holiday Cranberries [This is a family original recipe] 1 can whole cranberries 1 small can crushed pineapple 1/2 c. walnut pieces Mix all ingreients. Remembering to pour off the exess juice from the crushed pineapple. Serve chilled. Scalloped Oysters/Oyster Soufle [This is a family original recipe] 5 lg. cans oysters 6 eggs 1/4 onion - diced 1 clove garlic 1/2 to 1 cup half & half 1 - 2 sleeves "Town House" crakers - crushed Salt & pepper White Sauce: 2 sticks of butter 1/2 cup flour 1/2 to 1 quart whole milk Brown butter and flour. Add in the milk and thicken over low heat. Combine all ingredients. Bake in a bowl at 325 degrees on middle rack for 1 hour or until top has risen and is golden brown.
